Electrical Design Engineer

📍 Location: Kitchener / Toronto, Ontario, Canada
🕘 Position Type: Full-Time | Hybrid or On-site

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated MEP Electrical Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing electrical system designs and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on various residential, commercial, and institutional projects, adhering to Canadian codes and sustainability standards.


Key Responsibilities
• Develop electrical designs including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and data/communication systems
• Create and modify detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
• Perform load calculations, prepare single-line diagrams, and equipment schedules
• Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC/OESC) and relevant municipal standards
• Collaborate with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and coordination reviews as required


Qualifications
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Building Systems Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience in MEP or building services electrical design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and design software such as ETAP, Dialux, or Caneco BT (an asset)
• Familiarity with Ontario Building Code (OBC) and energy efficiency standards
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Eligible to work in Canada (PR or Work Permit); P.Eng or EIT registration is an asset

Project Engineer -MEP

📍 Location: Kochi / Kerala, India.

Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated MEP Project Engineer to manage the coordination and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at our project sites. This role demands a strong understanding of engineering principles, site execution, team management, and client coordination.


Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the on-site execution of MEP systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and vendors for timely project completion
• Prepare and review drawings, BOQs, material submittals, and technical documentation
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and code compliance
• Resolve on-site technical issues and report progress to project management
• Ensure adherence to IS codes, NBC, and local authority requirements


Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma)
• Minimum 3–5 years of MEP project/site engineering experience
• Proficient in reading MEP drawings and working with tools like AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of Indian Standards (IS), NBC, and relevant safety codes
• Good leadership, planning, and communication skills
• Ability to handle site execution independently


Preferred Skills
• Experience with MEP installations in high-rise buildings or commercial complexes
• Familiarity with HVAC ducting, chilled water piping, LV panel installations, and plumbing layouts
• Knowledge of project management tools and documentation methods

AutoCAD Drafting Technologist

📍 Location: Kitchener / Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Position Overview
The AutoCAD Drafting Technologist will be responsible for preparing and revising technical drawings based on engineering sketches, field measurements, and project specifications. The role supports engineers and project managers in the delivery of accurate and timely construction and permit drawings.


Key Responsibilities
• Create 2D technical drawings for electrical, mechanical, and architectural layouts
• Draft site plans, schematics, and construction details using AutoCAD
• Work closely with engineers to interpret design requirements
• Modify existing drawings as per redlines and project updates
• Ensure drawing standards, layer management, and CAD best practices are followed
• Maintain organized project files and drawing documentation
• Assist in coordinating drawings with other disciplines (civil, structural, architectural)


Qualifications
• Diploma or Certificate in Architectural or Engineering Technology, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, preferably in MEP or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D); familiarity with Revit, Civil 3D, or SketchUp is an asset
• Understanding of Canadian building codes, site layouts, and permit documentation
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Legally eligible to work in Canada (Permanent Resident, Citizen, or valid work permit)


Preferred Assets
• Experience with MEP or architectural drafting in Canadian consulting firms
• Exposure to field/site survey drawings and as-built documentation
• Familiarity with municipal permitting processes (Ontario preferred)
